One More Way to Make a Difference

Greetings!
I am writing to you today to share my excitement, I will soon be embarking on a journey to Peru, to dig wells and share the good news of our Lord! While volunteering, donating and praying are wonderful and fulfilling, I am thrilled to be able to make a difference in such a tangible way. It is not often that this kind of opportunity comes, and I am thankful that I can take hold of it and go!


I can't wait to see how God works through me and in me to make a difference to the people around me and to make a difference in my heart. He is truly wonderful and loving, and now I get to show his love to those who need it and I get to care for physical needs so that the people in the villages around Iquitos might have hope for the future. God loves His children so much, and I believe that it is His will that those of us who have much, or even just enough, share with those who have none- in order that we might experience His love working through us.


John 4:14 "...but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
John 7:37-38 Jesus stood and said "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."


How wonderful to be able to share both clean water as well as the living water that only Christ can give simultaneously. Please, pray for our team as we go to Peru this September and pray that the hearts of the Peruvian villagers be open to receive the love of Christ.
